The chairman apologised for his absence at past meetings which was due to college commitments
DF League Table
G4EPA suggested that as the DF hunts were becoming very popular it would be interesting to award a graduated scale of points to participating teams and thus compile a league table. It was also noted that there is an unallocated cup which could be awarded to the year's winning team.
VHF Field Day
Details for organising this year's VHF NFD were discussed. The Melton club are organising most of the 2metre station but are at present having problems acquiring a suitable linear amplifier
Stan G3HYH will be approached to see if he is willing to organise the 4m station and G3TQF and G4JDI will work on the 7O and 23cm stations.
It seems there are difficulties with obtaining permission to use Robin a Tiptoe this year so the most likely site at present is Skeffington.
HF Field, Day
The general conclusion was that NFD went well and everyone commended Cliff and Tony's excellent organisation.
Many people however expressed disgust at the behaviour of the Polytechnic Club when visiting our site.
Towers
G4EPA said he may be able to acquire several 12ft lattice tower sections at very low cast. It was felt that this was an opportunity not to be missed and John Will look further into the matter.
