Novice course ALEX unable to do the novice course in February due to work commitments, but hoping to do a novice course later on in the year.
Morse class weekend, committee will contact the other local clubs to Leicester about the w/end and see if they have any body who would like to participate, if so perhaps a donation could the made to the club.
A letter from Mr Lucus about novice class received by the committee, a letter of acknowledgement as been sent.
The mobile tower, still looking for a suitable one, availability of the chequebook was raised, chairman to see treasurer.
New premises, still on going, fund raising for new premises, to be looked at, GARY dealing.
Charity event this year is to be LOROS, GARY as been in contact with them and awaiting more information type of event when, and where watch the notice board.
Heating in the club kitchen was spoken about; TOM is to deal with it.
Cottesmore Air Show KEVIN is to contact, the show personal and see what our chances are, of putting a stand there, more later.
RAE/NOVICE SATELLITE EXAMINATION SCHEME, the club as received the paper work about the scheme, and are going to discuss the scheme further, but we will be trying to have the club as a registered examination centre Notices to be posted on the club board for trips out
Roger raised the question about the cost of the drive, that as been re-instated, we could be possible to cover part of the costs, we have heard nothing yet, about the costs, (keep your fingers crossed that we don't) STAN is to sort out agreement and look carefully at it.
ROBOT WARS ROGER spoke, about robots and will find out more information about them. So watch the notice board looks exciting.
TOM, asked about the discounts if still on going to the club membership, its doubtful if any are as none been used before and they have now laspted.
KEVIN can a list of current and paid up members be published, the list will be made available as soon as it can be sorted out, in future membership forms will be sent out with the AGMs papers.
NORTH NORFOLK AMATEUR RADIO CLUB, it as been suggested that LRS join forces with them for contests, awaiting information as regards what contests and when, A letter from a radio club in GERMANY., received in reply to the one the club sent to link/twin with any KREFELD club as been received, LEICESTER is TWINNED with KREFELD so we will try and arrange skeds etc. A working party to be arranged to sort antenna's and heaters etc. Meeting closed 21.45hrs
