Frank read out the details of two estimates for installing storage heaters in the club premises and after discussion the committee decided, the cost did not justify any savings through a lack of dampness and condensation.
Frank read a note passed to him by G4ZTD Kelvin offering to install an alarm system, it was felt by the committee that a bell system would only attract attention to the club and not serve a useful function, many thanks to Kelvin for the offer.
Now that the storage porta-kabin has been delivered, a working party is required to move it to a different position, to site it on slabs and to assist with roof repairs, Taff is to arrange for delivery of suitable slabs.
In view of the lack of support a coach will not be arranged for the NEC this year but suggestions will be taken for an organised trip to another venue.
An open meeting will be held in the new club room on Monday 30th March, 1987.
