Open Progress Meeting
MONDAY 15th. June 1987
In the absence of G4ITP Taff, G3TQF Geoff. agreed to chair the meeting in the presence of 23 members and four committee members, apologies were received from G4IFB, G4ITP and G4WYN.
The merits of a purpose built workshop was thoroughly discussed and many points of view were put forward, this culminated in G4LRO Roger agreeing to head a team of G4RLC Tom, GlUCN Malcolm, GlUYE and G1JPL to construct and put the workshop into operation, all present were in favour of a sum of £200-00 being spent on the project.
Other projects discussed for the committee to consider, was a need for a six metre evening now that the band had been extended to include all licencees. The condition of and the desirability to look at and replace our existing tents for future contests etc., and there was a further request for the committee to look at the suitability of and the need to replace our present towers and masts,
