COMMITTEE MEETING
MONDAY 14TH DECEMBER 1987
Members present: G4ITP Taff, G4PDZ, Frank, G4JDI Tony, G3TQF Geoff, G4IFB Gary, G4WYN Gwynne, GØBAI Pete.
It was reported to the committee that the increased subscription had been paid to the RSGB thereby giving us the copy of 'Radio Communication' each month, and the Subscription to QST had been paid.
The question of towers was again raised, it was generally agreed by the committee that we should invest in a new tower but would delay final decision until after the AGM, but in the meantime quotes should be obtained from Strumech and Altron.
It was agreed that we should again purchase a bottle of Whisky, and a box of chocolates for the farmer and his wife in return for supplying us with a site for NFD.
It was also agreed thatwe should purchase sherry and squash, along with the mince pies for the Annual Christmas celebration.
The Secretary was asked to obtain a quote for the purchase of a 2 metre and a Satellite Module for the FT726 transceiver.
