A request had been received by the committee for a multi-purpose C.W. oscillator for the morse training room, this request had been discussed and it was agreed the Secretary should make enquiries as to suitable equipment available to fit the needs of the Society.
The committee had discussed various options re. the use of the rooms in the old building, it was decided that all rooms should be devoted to shack variations and that the porta-kabin which was purchased primarily as a store room should also be used as an office and committee room.
Basic tools such as pliers, cutters and screwdrivers are to be purchased and supplied for workshop use.
Following the success of the Christmas dinner's previously organized by Linda and held at the Grand Hotel, it was felt by the committee that if the demand was there, we should continue the great work started by Linda, therefore the arrangements were made for the dinner to be held at the Carvery, Grand Hotel, on the 12th. of December at a cost of £8-95 each.
