Members present :- G4ITP Taff, G4PDZ Frank, G0AIZ Bill, G4JDI Tony, G1SAL Eric, G4WYN Gwynne & G3TQF Geoff.
Apologies: G4OOS John.
Estimates for repairs to the car park and the club house roof were discussed by the committee, but were held in abeyance awaiting the outcome of verbal discussions between Frank and the Estates Surveyor of the Leicester City Council.
The hole to accomodate the base of the new tower was discussed and decision to be left to the next meeting.
In view of the large sum involved the committee agreed to delay the decorating of the clubhouse.
Frank read a letter from the Show Committee explaining the reason for non payment of proceeds from the Leicester Show, prior to posting copies on the notice boards.
It was agreed to apply for the call sign GB0LRS for a special event to celebrate our 75 years as a Society in September.
Steve G0EVI has volunteered to run an RAE class in the club premises the committee was pleased to accept the offer to provide another service for its members.
